Cabo San Lucas, Playa El Médano, southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula

Cabo San Lucas - known for its beautiful coastline, vibrant entertainment scene, and exclusive resorts
Cabo San Lucas is a popular coastal city at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula in northwestern Mexico, in the state of Baja California Sur. It is known for its beautiful coastline, lively entertainment scene, and upscale resorts. The city has evolved from a small fishing village to an internationally renowned tourist destination, particularly popular with American visitors. Cabo San Lucas is part of the Los Cabos area, along with neighboring San José del Cabo. One of the city's most famous landmarks is El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, a natural rock formation where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. Water sports, scuba diving, sport fishing, and whale watching are popular activities here.
Playa El Médano - the largest and most popular beach in Cabo San Lucas. It stretches along the bay near the city center. The beach is lined with restaurants, bars, hotels and beach clubs. Playa El Médano is also known for its views of El Arco and for being one of the safest beaches in the area, as other beaches along the coast often have strong currents.
Baja California Peninsula - a long, narrow strip of land in northwestern Mexico that stretches over 1,200 kilometers from the US border at Tijuana in the north to Cabo San Lucas in the south.
