The Gondwana Kalahari Park encompasses approximately 10,000 hectares (100 sq km) of pristine desert. Gondwana Kalahari Park is located in the southern part of the Kalahari, a dry and barren landscape characterized by extensive sand dunes, salt lakes and grasslands.
This breathtaking landscape is home to hardy desert animals such as chamois, springbok, ostrich, eland, eared dog, jackal and the intricate nests of colony weavers.
