The Fjellheisen lift in Hemsedal
Hemsedal, the Scandinavian Alps, offers a skiing experience on three peaks, all higher than 1000 meters. Here there is a variety of terrain to explore, from snow parks and race arenas to steep descents and challenging off-piste areas. The longest ski route stretches over 6 kilometers from the top of the mountain to the valley below.
The area offers pistes for all levels of difficulty and opportunities for both free skiing in sparse birch forests and skiing on pristine mountain sides. Off-piste adventures are readily available, just a short distance from the slopes. Hemsedal also offers evening skiing and ski school for the youngest.
