Trysil consists of four connected ski areas. On both sides of the mountain are hotels with both apartments and hotel rooms as well as baths, spas and several restaurants. Fly directly as Trysil is only 40 minutes from the international airport Scandinavian Mountains Airport. Trysil is Norway's largest ski resort and ski area with its slopes built around Trysilfjellet.
SkiStar also has a ski school for the younger ones with the snowman Valle. Most of the cabins and hotels in Trysil are located right on the slopes with easy ski-in/ski-out options. In Trysil there is also the possibility of evening skiing on slopes with evening lighting or perhaps après ski at full speed at the restaurant Laaven.
