Verbier, Place Centrale

Place Centrale - the central square of Verbier, is a social and commercial hub
Verbier is an alpine village located in the French-speaking part of the canton of Valais in southwestern Switzerland, at an altitude of about 1,500 meters above sea level. Surrounded by alpine peaks, including the majestic Mont Fort, Verbier has developed into one of Europe's most prestigious winter sports resorts. Verbier is part of the larger 4 Vallées ski area, which with over 400 kilometers of pistes connects several alpine destinations and offers both beginners and experienced skiers one of the most varied ski landscapes in Switzerland. Verbier is not only known for its snow and terrain, but also for its lifestyle.
Place Centrale - the central square of Verbier, is the social and commercial hub of the heart of Verbier. Locals, tourists, skiers and après-ski guests gather here all year round. The Place Centrale is lined with charming chalets, hotels, shops, restaurants and cafés, and is a natural meeting place whatever the season. In winter, the square is surrounded by snow and life, while in summer it serves as a starting point for hiking and cycling in the mountains. Place Centrale also has an important function as a hub for public transport and the ski system's shuttle buses. It is from here that you can continue to lifts such as Médran, which connect the village to the entire ski area. With magnificent views of the Alps and a well-preserved village feel, Verbier combines traditional Swiss Alpine style with international elegance.
