Polzeath Beach – a popular surfing beach in Cornwall, England

Polzeath is a small coastal village in north-west Cornwall in south-west England, known for its sandy beach and popular surfing culture. The village is situated at the mouth of the River Camel, close to the resorts of Rock and Padstow. The village has cafes, surf shops and holiday accommodation. The area is also part of the beautiful South West Coast Path, making it a great destination for walkers and nature lovers. There are chances to see seals, seabirds and sometimes dolphins along the coast.


Polzeath Beach - a wide, sandy beach that is particularly famous for surfing, thanks to its long, smooth waves that suit both beginners and experienced surfers. The beach is child-friendly and shallow, making it popular with families during the summer. At low tide, the beach becomes very large and provides space for swimming, sandcastles and beach walks. During the high season there are lifeguards on site, as well as access to toilets, cafes and surf rentals.
