Åre, Åreskutan from Renfjället - Sweden

Åreskutan is the highest mountain in the Åre area and one of the most famous mountains in Sweden. From the top you have a fantastic view of the entire Åre Valley, Lake Åre and sometimes as far as the Norwegian mountains in clear weather. Åre is a historic mountain village with a wide range of skiing, shopping, restaurants, bars, hotels and cabins. The ski slopes and views in Åre are recognizable from many World Cup competitions and international travel magazines have repeatedly named Åre one of the world's best ski resorts. Skiing in Åre is divided into three different areas. The most famous is Åre village with Åreskutan in the middle, right next door is the child-friendly Åre Björnen, and a short drive away is Duved/Tegefjäll.
