Borås Energy and Environment's storage tank at Ryaverket rises an impressive 70 meters above the ground and was built between 2008 and 2010. This gigantic structure, which is one of the tallest storage tanks in Europe, has the capacity to hold a full 37,000 cubic meters of district heating water. With its enormous dimensions and advanced technology, the tank plays a central role in Borås' energy infrastructure, enabling a stable and efficient energy supply for the city's residents. The tank not only contributes to storing and distributing heat in a sustainable way, but also forms a significant part of the city's work towards a greener future.
