Branäs - Sweden
Branäs is the largest ski resort in Värmland and has over 30 slopes, with everything from easier slopes for beginners to more advanced slopes for experienced skiers. Most pistes are blue and red, which means that the resort can be well suited for families and groups with varying skiing skills. For snowboarders there is a park with different rails and jumps. In Branäs, there are also cross-country tracks with room for both classic style and skating. The track length of a total of 29 kilometers includes six different tracks of varying lengths. Most of Branäs cross-country trails start at the top, next to restaurant Ladan. Snowmobile and dog sled safaris also depart from the same location. In Branäs there are several restaurants that serve both lunch and dinner. Branäs is also a thirteen-time winner of the Large Children's holiday prize and in 2021 Branäs was named ski resort of the year by SLAO (Swedish Ski Facilities Organisation).
