Bydalsfjällen mountains in the middle of Jämtland
Bydalsfjällen – located in the middle of Jämtland's magnificent mountain world, between Oviksfjällen and Kroktjärnsfjällen, near the Vålådalen mountain station and approximately 80 kilometers southwest of Åre. Bydalsfjällen offers skiing for all levels with its 17 lifts, 40 slopes and a vertical drop of 420 meters. Snow cannons ensure optimal conditions throughout the season.
Here you can enjoy both wide slopes and challenging off-piste, especially at Hovdeshögen and Drommen, which offer tougher terrain for the adventurous. For families, there are children's areas in Bydalen, Drommen and Gräftåvallen, where skiing is adapted for the little ones.
