Hemavan, view towards Björk - Top Restaurant & Mountain Bar - Sweden

Hemavan is northern Sweden's largest ski resort and is located in Lapland/Västerbotten. It offers great skiing in the winter and mountain hiking in the summer.

Björk - Top Restaurant & Mountain Bar is located approximately 400 meters from the top station of Hemavan Gondola, and there is a gravel road that winds down to the restaurant from the top station. The restaurant was opened in December 2015 and the combination of Nordic design, international influences, local ingredients and a wonderful view makes a visit to Björk an experience beyond the ordinary.

Winter on Björk

Breakfast is served from the time the first lift starts spinning until it is time to serve lunch. During the day, a wide menu is served, varying according to the season. You can choose to book your table online or come to a drop-in location, subject to availability. At lunchtime, you can choose from the menu, which is classically structured with starters, main courses and dessert. For younger guests, there is a separate menu to order from. In the middle of the restaurant you will find the cocktail bar, which serves cocktails, wines, hot drinks and classics such as gluhwine.

Evenings at Björk

In the evening, a 5-course tasting menu is served, which varies during the season. Transport to and from the restaurant is by ski lift (with a cabin for about 20 people) and is included in the booking. Dinner takes about three hours and then the ski lift will take all guests down. Pick-up and drop-off are at the Hemavan Gondola valley station. For evenings/tasting menus, only pre-booking is required.
