Kungsliftens toppled/ Storkittelhobben - The Kungsliftens toppled takes you from Hemavan Gondol up to the highest point of the ski area - Storkittelhobben 1135 m above sea level. The Kungsliftens toppled starts at the Hemavan Gondol top station. The path winds upwards and a first stop is conveniently made at Storkitteltjärn. Coffee break with wind shelter. After the pond the path becomes steeper but the effort quickly pays off with miles of views. Length: 4 km round trip. Elevation difference: 355 meters. Time: Approximately 2-3 hours.

Hemavan is northern Sweden's largest ski resort and is located in Lapland/Västerbotten. It offers great skiing in the winter and mountain hiking in the summer. Hemavan also has the freeskiing paradise Kobåset, which is considered by many to be Sweden's best freeskiing area. In the summer, it is mountain hiking along the world-famous Kungsleden trail, mushroom picking and the mountain nature that attract most visitors.
