Hunnebostrand has about 2000 inhabitants and is located in central Bohuslän. Hunnebostrand is an old fishing village located on the beach of the Hunnebo homestead, hence the name. The coastal community is one of Bohuslän's oldest, dating back to the 13th century. The guest harbor is one of the most well-regarded on the west coast. There is a large selection of shopping, groceries, an ATM, restaurants and nightclubs. The community's harbor area is lined with picturesque houses from the 19th century with a boathouse complex that has the same appearance as it has since the end of the 19th century in the guest harbor.
