Norrköping, Yxbacken, the top - Sweden

Yxbacken is a ski resort operated by Norrköping Skidklubb, at Hultsbruk outside Åby, about 12 km north of central Norrköping. The resort consists of three lifts and four slopes and is open weather permitting throughout the winter. It was here that Pernilla Wiberg laid the foundation for her alpine successes. Norrköping Skidklubb is one of the country's oldest ski clubs and has existed for over 100 years.
