Sälen, Lindvallen, Sälfjällstorget - Sweden

Sälfjällstorget in Lindvallen, in the heart of Sälen
It was at Sälfjällstorget that mountain tourism in Sälen began. In the beginning, people pedaled up the mountain slopes with skis. In 1949, Sälen's first ski lift in the area was built. Nowadays, Säljfällstorget is the heart of Sälen. In the middle of Sälfjällstorget there is a ski boot track and it is possible to borrow skates and kickboards for free. When the ice rink is open, there is always a fire burning in the fire and many people take the opportunity to grill sausages during their ice rink break. The kiosk next to the ice rink sells coffee, hot chocolate, sweets, etc. In the summer, the ice rink is converted into a pump track with bicycles for children to borrow. Around Sälfjällstorget there are restaurants, accommodation and shopping. Skiing in the Lindvallen area starts from four different squares - Sälfjällstorget, Söderåstorget, Gustavtorget and Experiumtorget. There are 41 slopes with different levels of difficulty and the longest slope is 1800 meters long.
