Stöten in Sälen - the northernmost ski resort in the Sälenfjällen
Stöten is the northernmost ski resort in the Sälenfjällen mountains and is named after the mountain Granfjällsstöten, around which the resort is based. Stöten was founded in 1976 and the resort is concentrated around three squares - Stötentorget, Skidtorget and Soltorget. Stöten has restaurants, bars, hotels, cabins, ski school, ski rental, sports shop, adventure pool, spa, bowling and grocery store. Stöten is also known for its beautiful mountain scenery.
