Uvbergsbacken is a family-friendly slalom slope located centrally in Smedjebacken, Dalarna. The facility is operated by Norrbärke Skidklubb Alpin (NSK Alpin) and offers a pleasant skiing experience. Uvbergsbacken dates back to the early 1940s and the lift was installed in 1968. The tow lift has a capacity of 900 people/hour. Uvbergsbacken has two slopes, each between 600 and 800 meters long and with a drop of 120 meters. There is also a heated cabin with a restaurant. It is also possible to rent skis and other equipment. Opening hours vary depending on weather conditions and snow availability. Smedjebacken is a town located on Lake Norra Barken. The municipality consists of the towns of Smedjebacken and Söderbärke as well as several surrounding villages. Smedjebacken offers a rich outdoor life with over 500 lakes, which provides excellent opportunities for fishing and swimming.
