Hallstabacken is located approximately 2.3 km from the center of Sollefteå. The slalom slope was built in the 1940s and is one of the oldest in Sweden. There are slopes of varying difficulty levels for both beginners and advanced skiers. Hallstaberget - here is a sports facility with a mile-long cross-country track system, roller ski tracks, mountain bike trails, a biathlon stadium, alpine slopes and ski jumps. In the middle of the Hallstaberget ski slope is Hotell Hallstaberget, which offers both a la carte, spa and events.
