Vrångö is an island located in the southern archipelago of Gothenburg, belonging to Västra Götaland County. It is the southernmost inhabited island in the Gothenburg archipelago and is located about 20 km southwest of central Gothenburg. The island is part of the municipality of Gothenburg and has a permanent population of about 400 people, which triples during the summer when holiday home owners come to the island. To get to Vrångö, you can take the ferry from Saltholmen, a peninsula in the Älvsborg district of Gothenburg. The ferry journey takes about 35 minutes and also passes other islands such as Donsö, Styrsö and Köpstadsö. The island is car-free, there are several walking trails, such as Tärnstigen, Norra slingan and Södra slingan, which offer beautiful views and opportunities for birdwatching.

Kajkanten is located in Vrångö Harbour, a seven-minute walk from the archipelago boats' docking point. There are 11 fresh boathouses with 2-7 beds (including extra beds). Each boathouse apartment has a shower, toilet and kitchenette for self-catering.
