Husum - a port town located on the North Sea coast in the region of North Friesland
Husum is a small port town in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, located on the North Sea coast in the region of Nordfriesland. With around 23,000 inhabitants, the town is known for its maritime heritage and its colourful houses. Husum is characterised by its port tradition. It used to be a lively trading and fishing town, and the port still plays an important role today, both as a marina and as a place for tourism and events.
