Hawaii is the 50th state of the United States and consists of a chain of volcanic islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, approximately 3,700 kilometers southwest of the mainland United States. Hawaii consists of eight major islands, the most famous of which are Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi (also known as the Big Island), Molokaʻi, and Lānaʻi. The capital is Honolulu, located on the island of Oʻahu, which is also the most populous island. Hawaii is unique both geographically and culturally.
Maui - the second largest of the Hawaiian Islands, known for its dramatic scenery, varied climate and rich cultural history. Nicknamed “The Valley Isle”, the island is made up of two volcanic mountain ranges – Haleakalā to the east and the West Maui Mountains to the west – connected by a low-lying valley, giving the island its characteristic shape. Maui is a popular destination thanks to its long beaches, lush rainforests and volcanic landscapes. One of the most iconic experiences is watching the sunrise from Haleakalā Crater, a moon-like landscape over 3,000 metres above sea level. In contrast, the famous Road to Hāna coastal drive offers winding roads through rainforest, past waterfalls and black lava beaches. During the winter months, Maui is one of the best places in the world to see humpback whales, which migrate to the warm waters around the island.
Kīhei - a coastal town on South Maui, known for its dry climate, long beaches, and laid-back atmosphere. The town is located on Maʻalaea Bay and stretches along several miles of sandy beaches, with Kamaʻole Beach Parks being among the most popular for swimming, snorkeling, and sunsets. Kīhei has grown from a small fishing village to a bustling area with restaurants, shops, housing, and vacation rentals, but maintains a local and less touristy feel compared to neighboring towns like Wailea. Kīhei's location makes it easy to reach both Haleakalā National Park and Molokini Crater for excursions.

Kamaole Beach II is located between Kamaole Beach I and Kamaole Beach III, with easy access from the main South Kihei Road. Kamaole II has lifeguards, showers, restrooms, and picnic tables. Coral reefs at both ends attract snorkelers, and the area surrounding the beach offers proximity to restaurants, cafes, and shops.
