Kansas City - known for its rich culture, especially jazz music and barbecue

Kansas City is a major city in the U.S. state of Missouri. Kansas City has a population of approximately 500,000 and is the largest city in Missouri, and the metropolitan area (Kansas City Metropolitan Area) has a population of over 2 million. Kansas City is known for its rich culture, especially in jazz music and barbecue, which have become two of the city's strongest identities. During the 1920s and 1930s, Kansas City was a center for jazz and an important stop for many musicians. Kansas City has also been nicknamed the "City of Fountains" because it has more fountains than any other city in the world except Rome. Economically, Kansas City is a hub for transportation and logistics, due to its central location in the United States, as well as for industries such as manufacturing, technology, healthcare, and finance. Kansas City is also home to several professional sports teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs (American football) and the Kansas City Royals (baseball). There is also a strong educational offering, with several colleges and universities in and around the city.

National WWI Museum and Memorial - The official museum and memorial of the United States to World War I. Founded in 1926 as the Liberty Memorial, it was recognized by Congress as a national museum in 2004. The building is an example of Egyptian Revival architecture and has been designated a National Historic Landmark. The museum houses the world's most comprehensive collection of artifacts and documents from World War I, with over 350,000 items. Visitors are given an immersive experience through interactive exhibits, trench replicas, authentic artifacts such as a Renault FT tank and a 1918 Ford Model T ambulance, and an impressive timeline that highlights the global impact of the war. A highlight is the 211-foot-tall Liberty Memorial Tower, where visitors can take an elevator followed by 45 steps to an observation deck with panoramic views of Kansas City. At the top of the tower are four 40-foot-tall "Guardian Spirits" symbolizing honor, courage, patriotism, and sacrifice.

Kansas City Union Station - a historic train station that opened in 1914. It was once one of the busiest stations in the United States. After a period of decline, it reopened in 1999 as a cultural and visitor center. Today, the building houses museums, exhibits, restaurants, an IMAX theater, and Amtrak train service. The building is known for its Beaux-Arts architecture and its large concourse with a 95-foot (29 m) ceiling.

Henry Wollman Bloch Fountain - Named after the co-founder of tax firm H&R Block, the fountain is known for its programmed water jets and light shows, especially beautiful at night. It serves as a popular feature of the city's public spaces and a place for recreation and photography.
