Las Vegas - known for its vibrant entertainment scene and casino culture

Las Vegas, located in southern Nevada – known for its vibrant entertainment scene and casino culture. Surrounded by the Mojave Desert, amidst a barren landscape of sand, cliffs and mountains, Las Vegas has emerged as a symbol of entertainment and gambling. Las Vegas was officially founded in 1905 and grew rapidly after gambling was legalized in Nevada in 1931. During the 1940s and 50s, Las Vegas became a popular tourist destination thanks to its casinos, glamorous hotels and the allure that movie stars and musicians brought to the city. Famous hotels such as The Flamingo and Caesars Palace became classic landmarks, and soon The Strip, the city’s most famous boulevard, was filled with everything from the pyramids and the Eiffel Tower to dancing fountains. Las Vegas is more than just gambling – it is a hub for shows, concerts, art, food and shopping. Artists such as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Celine Dion, Adele, Aerosmith and U2 have had long-running stage shows here. Las Vegas is also a venue for international trade shows, sporting events, and conferences.

Allegiant Stadium - one of the most modern and eye-catching sports and event venues in the United States, located just south of the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, a suburb of Las Vegas. The stadium opened in July 2020, and is the home of the NFL team Las Vegas Raiders and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rebels (college football). Allegiant Stadium cost approximately $1.9 billion to build and is a collaboration between public funds and private investment. The stadium is all-black with a futuristic design that makes it stand out in the desert landscape. With a capacity of approximately 65,000 spectators (expandable for large events), Allegiant Stadium is one of the largest indoor arenas in the United States with an opening roof and window sections that provide views of the Las Vegas Strip.
