Manhattan – one of New York City's five boroughs and the most famous. It is a long, narrow island between the Hudson and East Rivers, and serves as the city's heart for business, culture and tourism. It is home to famous landmarks such as Times Square, Central Park, the Empire State Building, Wall Street and Broadway. Manhattan is also home to world-famous museums such as The Met and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).

Times Square – a bustling area in Manhattan, where Broadway and Seventh Avenue meet. It is one of the world's most famous city squares, famous for its giant billboards, neon lights, theater district and bustling crowds. Often referred to as "The Crossroads of the World", the place is a symbol of New York's energy and constant movement. Times Square is the center of Broadway theaters, where classic and innovative musicals are performed year-round. It is also home to numerous shops, restaurants, cinemas and media companies - including the iconic One Times Square, where the New Year's Eve countdown and the luminous "dropping ball" celebration take place every year. The area got its name in 1904 when The New York Times moved its headquarters here. Today, Times Square is one of the world's most visited tourist destinations, with millions of visitors each year.
