[OH] Cleveland, view toward Lake Erie - USA

Cleveland - one of the largest cities in the Midwest
Cleveland, located on the southern shore of Lake Erie in the state of Ohio, is a city with a strong industrial tradition, rich culture and an emerging modern urban landscape. With approximately 370,000 residents in the city center and over 2 million in the metropolitan area, Cleveland is one of the largest cities in the Midwest. The city was founded in 1796 at the confluence of the Cuyahoga River and Lake Erie, which gave it a strategic position for trade and maritime transport, and later a key role in American industrialization. Cleveland is also known as a cultural center. It is home to the Cleveland Museum of Art, Playhouse Square (one of the largest theater districts in the United States) and, above all, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which is located on the city's shoreline and attracts visitors from all over the world. Music and art have always been an important part of the city's soul – from classical music to rock, gospel and jazz. Cleveland also has a passionate sports scene, with teams like the Cleveland Browns (NFL), Cavaliers (NBA), and Guardians (MLB), making arenas like FirstEnergy Stadium and Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse hubs of local pride and community. Cleveland also offers green spaces and recreation, with the Metroparks system with its many parks, bike trails, and nature preserves providing residents with close access to the outdoors. Cuyahoga Valley National Park is just a few miles south of the city, and the lakefront of Lake Erie offers boating, fishing, and beaches.
