Tennessee is a state in the southeastern United States, with a population of approximately 7 million. The capital is Nashville, which is also known as the music capital of the world due to its strong connection to country music. Tennessee has a diverse geography with the Appalachian Mountains to the east, fertile farmland in the center, and the Mississippi River to the west. The state is also home to the most visited national park in the United States – Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Economically, Tennessee is strong in manufacturing, the music industry, tourism, and agriculture.
