Gällivare is an urban area and the seat of Gällivare Municipality, located in Lapland, Norrbotten County, Sweden. The city is located approximately 100 km north of the Arctic Circle, placing Gällivare in the Arctic region. Gällivare is surrounded by magnificent nature, including mountains, forests and lakes.
