Region Gotland and Nybergs Entreprenad are jointly building a new bathhouse in Visby
Region Gotland is building a new swimming pool in Visby together with Nybergs Entreprenad AB on the property Visby Ekorren 1. The contract is being carried out as a turnkey contract with a form of agreement: collaboration. The swimming pool will replace the existing Solbergabadet, which has served the people of Gotland since its construction in 1961. Gotland's new modern swimming pool will contain a 25x21 meter pool for exercise and competitive swimming, a 12x12 meter deep pool for jumping, playing and underwater rugby, and a multi-purpose pool with a raised and lowered bottom. In addition, there will also be a family pool aimed at children 0-7 years old.
The bathhouse is planned to open to the public in the fall of 2027.
