Hunnebostrand has about 2000 inhabitants and is located in central Bohuslän. Hunnebostrand is an old fishing village located on the shore of the Hunnebo homestead, hence the name. The coastal community is one of Bohuslän's oldest, dating back to the 13th century. The community's harbor area is lined with picturesque houses from the 19th century with a boathouse complex that has the same appearance as it did in the guest harbor at the end of the 19th century.
