Outside the big cities, a diverse landscape of mountains, forests, rivers and castles attracts hikers and nature lovers. The resort of Český Krumlov, with its fairytale old town, and Karlovy Vary, a classic spa with thermal springs, demonstrate the country's combination of nature, architecture and well-being.
